I suppose this is about Tomcat's original ROOT context content, right?

Why is this needed? Is this because the index.jsp steals us the show when / is
requested? I thought by the Yanel servlet taking over / in web.xml and perhaps
forcing some other configuration bits there it would be enough for us to gain
precedence on that?
